Poker players urged to visit Edinburgh
Edinburgh, capital of Scotland, is being marketed as a holiday destination for poker enthusiasts.
An events organiser is selling breaks aimed at those who want to learn how to play poker over the course of a weekend.
The luxury breaks will see groups of six and 12 people coming to the Capital to learn the basics of the popular Texas Hold 'Em version' of the card game.
They will spend time learning poker rules and strategies under the discerning eye of an expert player before moving on to try their luck at the Gala and Stanley casinos in the city.
There will also be a session highlighting the best places to play poker on the internet and tournaments for those who sign up for the trips.
Guests will also get the chance to see some of the sights of the Capital.
Epic Breaks, the company behind the idea, is also advertising poker-themed getaways in Amsterdam, Leeds and Paris, with prices starting at £165.
